The attraction features a 1.2 mile walking trail through the woods crawling with ghosts, zombies, and more. This is fear like you’ve never experienced! For those that dare go, the trail is open Friday & Saturday nights the last three weekends of October. Also enjoy free onsite parking, haunted hay ride, live bands, and plenty to eat & drink.
Younger children are encouraged to join us for Little Haunts Sundays from 2-6 pm, offering a fun and spook-free time, including trick-o-treating on the trail, games, crafts, pumpkin painting, costume contest, moon bounce, a hay maze, and more.
All proceeds go to support Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County.

Valley of the Haunted Trail
Is it scary?
Yes! Yes! The attraction is scary! That is why we are here to scare you!!! We spend a lot of time and work, just to scare you!
Sorry there are no refunds for any reason unless the event is canceled! This also includes weather, field conditions, scare factor, line waiting, and children ticket purchases. We do not recommend these attractions for children under 10. If you bring your child and purchase them a ticket, and they are too scared to go through we will not issue a refund, under any circumstances! If you purchase tickets, we want you to be scared. However, if you are too scared to make it through, you have gotten what you paid for.
How long does it take to get through the attraction? Is it a trail?
Yes, the haunt is a 1.2 mile walking trail through the woods. Depending on the night it will take up to 45 minutes to complete the entire attraction.
We sell tickets online and at the gate. We accept cash, Visa, or MasterCard. No checks are accepted.
All tickets sold online must be redeemed at the ticket booth. All online tickets will be reviewed for authenticity, and then redeemed with a site ticket. Do not just get in the attraction line; you will have to come back to the ticket booth for redemption..
We offer discount coupons. Each coupon has their restrictions so please read them carefully. We also offer group discounts (Buy 5 , Get 1 free). Children 2 and under are free for Little Haunts. Otherwise, there are no age discounts for young or old.
Weather & Conditions Policy?
We never want to be closed for any reason, but we are located outside. If it’s raining or it has rained we can only be open as permitted. If you are traveling from a distance to see us, please check the Valley of the Haunted Facebook Page for daily updates listed in our “Venue Status” portion of our home page. We are not responsible for the weather or field conditions, and open dates and times will vary.
What should I wear?
This is an operating campground with 100+ acres of wooded grounds. Please wear rugged shoes as you will be walking over rough ground in our Haunted Trail attraction. No sandals or flip flops.
Can children attend?
Valley of the Haunted is not recommended for children under 10, because of the scare factor and atmosphere. But because people do purchase tickets for their children, please make your best judgment call because there will be no refunds issued. Some children go through fine, while others don’t make it past the line or even the gate. All sales are final. All children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Younger children are encouraged to attend Little Haunts Sundays. This event is recommended for kids under 12.
Is there food available?
Yes, we have terrific food! A wide array of different foods and drinks available including make your own s’mores kits (for both kids and adults! ).
Please note that attractions are outside, so pathways and areas can be muddy or somewhat difficult to go through!
All participants are entering at their own risk. If you suffer from any medical conditions (or the following conditions, but not limited to these specific conditions), you should not enter; anxiety attacks, heart problems, asthma problems, any kind of breathing problems, or if you are pregnant.
